伯18:1 书亚人比勒达回答说：
伯18:1 Then Bildad the Shuhite made answer and said,
伯18:2 “你寻索言语要到几时呢？先想清楚，然后我们再说吧。
伯18:2 How long will it be before you have done talking? Get wisdom, and then we will say what is in our minds.
伯18:3 我们为什么算为牲畜？为什么在你的眼中看为污秽呢？
伯18:3 Why do we seem as beasts in your eyes, and as completely without knowledge?
伯18:4 你这因怒气而撕裂自己的，难道大地要为你的缘故被丢弃，盘石要挪移离开原处吗？
伯18:4 But come back, now, come: you who are wounding yourself in your passion, will the earth be given up because of you, or a rock be moved out of its place?
伯18:5 恶人的灯必要熄灭，他的火焰必不照耀；
伯18:5 For the light of the sinner is put out, and the flame of his fire is not shining.
伯18:6 他帐棚中的光要变为黑暗，上面的灯也必熄灭。
伯18:6 The light is dark in his tent, and the light shining over him is put out.
伯18:7 他的脚步必然狭窄，自己的计谋必把他绊倒；
伯18:7 The steps of his strength become short, and by his design destruction overtakes him.
伯18:8 他的脚送自己进入网罗，他走在陷阱之上。
伯18:8 His feet take him into the net, and he goes walking into the cords.
伯18:9 圈套要缠住他的脚跟，网罗要罩在他身上。
伯18:9 His foot is taken in the net; he comes into its grip.
伯18:10 活扣为他藏在地里，羁绊为他埋在路上。
伯18:10 The twisted cord is put secretly in the earth to take him, and the cord is placed in his way.
伯18:11 惊骇四面恐吓他，并且追赶他的脚踪。
伯18:11 He is overcome by fears on every side, they go after him at every step.
伯18:12 他的气力因饥饿衰败，祸患预备使他跌倒。
伯18:12 His strength is made feeble for need of food, and destruction is waiting for his falling footstep.
伯18:13 灾祸侵蚀了他大部分的皮肤，死亡的长子吃掉了他的肢体。
伯18:13 His skin is wasted by disease, and his body is food for the worst of diseases.
伯18:14 他要从他倚靠的帐棚中被拔出来，被带到惊骇的王那里，
伯18:14 He is pulled out of his tent where he was safe, and he is taken away to the king of fears.
伯18:15 不属他的住在他的帐棚里，硫磺撒在他的居所之上。
伯18:15 In his tent will be seen that which is not his, burning stone is dropped on his house.
伯18:16 他下面的根枯干，上面的枝子凋谢。
伯18:16 Under the earth his roots are dry, and over it his branch is cut off.
伯18:17 他令人怀念的都从地上灭没，他的名字不再留存在田上。
伯18:17 His memory is gone from the earth, and in the open country there is no knowledge of his name.
伯18:18 他们把他从光明中赶到黑暗里，又把他从世界中赶出去。
伯18:18 He is sent away from the light into the dark; he is forced out of the world.
伯18:19 在本族中他无子无孙，在他寄居之地，也没有生存的人。
伯18:19 He has no offspring or family among his people, and in his living-place there is no one of his name.
伯18:20 西方的人因他的日子惊讶，东方的人也战栗不已。
伯18:20 At his fate those of the west are shocked, and those of the east are overcome with fear.
伯18:21 不义的人之住所实在是这样，这就是不认识 神的人的收场。”
伯18:21 Truly, these are the houses of the sinner, and this is the place of him who has no knowledge of God.
