出14:1 耶和华告诉摩西说：
出14:1 And the Lord said to Moses,
出14:2 “你要吩咐以色列人转回过来，在比．哈希录前，密夺和海之间安营；你们要在巴力．洗分前，对着巴力．洗分，靠近海边的地方安营。
出14:2 Give orders to the children of Israel to go back and put up their tents before Pi-hahiroth, between Migdol and the sea, in front of Baal-zephon, opposite to which you are to put up your tents by the sea.
出14:3 法老必论到以色列人的事，说：‘他们在这地走迷了路，旷野把他们困住了。’
出14:3 And Pharaoh will say of the children of Israel, They are wandering without direction, they are shut in by the waste land.
出14:4 我要使法老的心刚硬，他就必追赶他们；这样，我就可以在法老身上和他的全军身上得到荣耀，埃及人就必知道我是耶和华。”于是以色列人就这样行了。
出14:4 And I will make Pharaoh's heart hard, and he will come after them and I will be honoured over Pharaoh and all his army, so that the Egyptians may see that I am the Lord. And they did so.
出14:5 有人告诉埃及王说：“以色列人逃走了。”法老和他的臣仆对以色列人的心就改变了，他们说：“我们让以色列人离开，不再服事我们，我们作了什么事呢？”
出14:5 And word came to Pharaoh of the flight of the people: and the feeling of Pharaoh and of his servants about the people was changed, and they said, Why have we let Israel go, so that they will do no more work for us?
出14:6 法老就预备他的马车，带着他的人民一同去，
出14:6 So he had his war-carriage made ready and took his people with him:
出14:7 并且带着六百辆特选的马车和埃及所有的马车，每辆马车上都有马车长。
出14:7 And he took six hundred carriages, all the carriages of Egypt, and captains over all of them.
出14:8 耶和华使埃及王法老的心刚硬，法老就追赶以色列人；因为以色列是靠着耶和华高举的手出来的。
出14:8 And the Lord made the heart of Pharaoh hard, and he went after the children of Israel: for the children of Israel had gone out without fear.
出14:9 埃及人追赶他们，法老所有的马匹、战车和他的马兵与军队，就在海边，靠近比．哈希录，对着巴力．洗分他们安营的地方追上了他们。
出14:9 But the Egyptians went after them, all the horses and carriages of Pharaoh, and his horsemen, and his army, and overtook them in their tents by the sea, by Pihahiroth, before Baal-zephon.
出14:10 法老走近的时候，以色列人举目观看，看见埃及人正追赶过来，就非常惧怕，向耶和华呼求。
出14:10 And when Pharaoh came near, the children of Israel, lifting up their eyes, saw the Egyptians coming after them, and were full of fear; and their cry went up to God.
出14:11 他们对摩西说：“难道埃及没有坟墓，你要把我们带来死在旷野吗？你为什么这样待我们，把我们从埃及领出来呢？
出14:11 And they said to Moses, Was there no resting-place for the dead in Egypt, that you have taken us away to come to our death in the waste land? why have you taken us out of Egypt?
出14:12 我们在埃及的时候，不是对你说过：‘不要管我们，我们要服事埃及人’这话吗？因为服事埃及人比死在旷野还好。”
出14:12 Did we not say to you in Egypt, Let us be as we are, working for the Egyptians? for it is better to be the servants of the Egyptians than to come to our death in the waste land.
出14:13 摩西对人民说：“不要惧怕，要站着，观看耶和华今天为你们施行的拯救；因为你们今天看见的埃及人，必永远不再看见了。
出14:13 But Moses said, Keep where you are and have no fear; now you will see the salvation of the Lord which he will give you today; for the Egyptians whom you see today you will never see again.
出14:14 耶和华必为你们争战，你们必须安静，不要作声。”
出14:14 The Lord will make war for you, you have only to keep quiet.
出14:15 耶和华对摩西说：“你为什么向我呼求呢？吩咐以色列人往前走。
出14:15 And the Lord said to Moses, Why are you crying out to me? give the children of Israel the order to go forward.
出14:16 你要把你的杖举起来，向海伸手，把海分开，叫以色列人下到海中走干地。
出14:16 And let your rod be lifted up and your hand stretched out over the sea, and it will be parted in two; and the children of Israel will go through on dry land.
出14:17 看哪，我要使埃及人的心刚硬，他们就必跟着以色列人下去；这样，我必在法老和他的全军身上，以及他的马车和马兵身上得到荣耀。
出14:17 And I will make the heart of the Egyptians hard, and they will go in after them: and I will be honoured over Pharaoh and over his army, his war-carriages, and his horsemen.
出14:18 我在法老身上，以及他的马车和马兵身上得到荣耀的时候，埃及人就知道我是耶和华。”
出14:18 And the Egyptians will see that I am the Lord, when I get honour over Pharaoh and his war-carriages and his horsemen.
出14:19 在以色列营前行走的 神的使者，转到他们后面去；云柱也从他们前面转过去，立在他们后面。
出14:19 Then the angel of God, who had been before the tents of Israel, took his place at their back; and the pillar of cloud, moving from before them, came to rest at their back:
出14:20 云柱来到埃及营和以色列营中间；云柱一边是黑暗的，一边却光照着黑夜。这样整夜彼此都不能接近。
出14:20 And it came between the army of Egypt and the army of Israel; and there was a dark cloud between them, and they went on through the night; but the one army came no nearer to the other all the night.
出14:21 摩西向海伸手，耶和华就用极强的东风，一夜之间使海水退去；他使海变成干地，海水也分开了。
出14:21 And when Moses' hand was stretched out over the sea, the Lord with a strong east wind made the sea go back all night, and the waters were parted in two and the sea became dry land.
出14:22 以色列人下到海中走干地，水在他们的左右作了墙垣。
出14:22 And the children of Israel went through the sea on dry land: and the waters were a wall on their right side and on their left.
出14:23 埃及人追赶过来，法老所有的马匹、马车和马兵，都跟着以色列人下到海中去。
出14:23 Then the Egyptians went after them into the middle of the sea, all Pharaoh's horses and his war-carriages and his horsemen.
出14:24 到了晨更的时候，耶和华透过云柱火柱向下观看埃及人的军兵，并且使埃及人的军兵大起混乱。
出14:24 And in the morning watch, the Lord, looking out on the armies of the Egyptians from the pillar of fire and cloud, sent trouble on the army of the Egyptians;
出14:25 又使他们的车轮脱落，行驶困难，因此埃及人说：“我们从以色列人面前逃跑吧，因为耶和华为他们争战，攻击埃及人了。”
出14:25 And made the wheels of their war-carriages stiff, so that they had hard work driving them: so the Egyptians said, Let us go in flight from before the face of Israel, for the Lord is fighting for them against the Egyptians.
出14:26 耶和华对摩西说：“你要向海伸手，使水回流到埃及人身上，流到他们的战车和马兵身上。”
出14:26 And the Lord said to Moses, Let your hand be stretched out over the sea, and the waters will come back again on the Egyptians, and on their war-carriages and on their horsemen.
出14:27 摩西就向海伸手，到了天亮的时候，海水流回原处；埃及人逆流逃跑的时候，耶和华就把他们投在海中。
出14:27 And when Moses' hand was stretched out over the sea, at dawn the sea came flowing back, meeting the Egyptians in their flight, and the Lord sent destruction on the Egyptians in the middle of the sea.
出14:28 海水一回流，就淹没了马车、马兵和那些跟着以色列人下海去的法老的全军，连一个也没有余下。
出14:28 And the waters came back, covering the war-carriages and the horsemen and all the army of Pharaoh which went after them into the middle of the sea; not one of them was to be seen.
出14:29 以色列人却在海中走干地，水在他们的左右作了墙垣。
出14:29 But the children of Israel went through the sea walking on dry land, and the waters were a wall on their right side and on their left.
出14:30 这样，耶和华就在那一天把以色列人从埃及人的手里拯救了出来；以色列人看见埃及人都死在海边。
出14:30 So that day the Lord gave Israel salvation from the hands of the Egyptians; and Israel saw the Egyptians dead on the sea's edge.
出14:31 以色列人看见耶和华向埃及人所显大能的手，就敬畏耶和华，又信服耶和华和他的仆人摩西。
出14:31 And Israel saw the great work which the Lord had done against the Egyptians, and the fear of the Lord came on the people and they had faith in the Lord and in his servant Moses.
