出24:1 耶和华对摩西说：“你要上到耶和华这里来。你自己、亚伦、拿答、亚比户和以色列长老中的七十人都要上来，你们要远远下拜。
出24:1 And he said to Moses, Come up to the Lord, you and Aaron, and Nadab and Abihu and seventy of the chiefs of Israel; and give me worship from a distance.
出24:2 只有摩西一人可以走近耶和华，他们却不可以亲近；人民也不可和摩西一同上来。”
出24:2 And Moses only may come near to the Lord; but the others are not to come near, and the people may not come up with them.
出24:3 摩西下来，把耶和华的一切话和一切典章都向人民讲述；人民都同声回答，说：“耶和华吩咐的一切话，我们都必遵行。”
出24:3 Then Moses came and put before the people all the words of the Lord and his laws: and all the people, answering with one voice, said, Whatever the Lord has said we will do.
出24:4 摩西把耶和华的一切话都记下了；清早起来，在山下筑了一座祭坛，按着以色列十二支派立了十二根柱子。
出24:4 Then Moses put down in writing all the words of the Lord, and he got up early in the morning and made an altar at the foot of the mountain, with twelve pillars for the twelve tribes of Israel.
出24:5 又派了以色列人中的青年人去献燔祭，又向耶和华杀牛献为平安祭。
出24:5 And he sent some of the young men of the children of Israel to make burned offerings and peace-offerings of oxen to the Lord.
出24:6 摩西取了一半的血，盛在盆中；又取了另一半的血，洒在祭坛上。
出24:6 And Moses took half the blood and put it in basins; draining out half of the blood over the altar.
出24:7 他又把约书拿过来，念给人民听；他们说：“耶和华吩咐的一切话，我们都必遵行和听从。”
出24:7 And he took the book of the agreement, reading it in the hearing of the people: and they said, Everything which the Lord has said we will do, and we will keep his laws.
出24:8 摩西就取了血来，洒在人民的身上，说：“看哪，这是立约的血，这约是耶和华按着这一切话与你们立的。”
出24:8 Then Moses took the blood and let it come on the people, and said, This blood is the sign of the agreement which the Lord has made with you in these words.
出24:9 随后，摩西、亚伦、拿答、亚比户和以色列长老中的七十人都上了山。
出24:9 Then Moses and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the chiefs of Israel went up:
出24:10 他们看见了以色列的 神；在 神的脚下有好像蓝宝石一样晶莹的铺路，好像天色一般明亮。
出24:10 And they saw the God of Israel; and under his feet there was, as it seemed, a jewelled floor, clear as the heavens.
出24:11 他不伸手攻击以色列人中的显贵；他们看见 神，并且又吃又喝。
出24:11 And he put not his hand on the chiefs of the children of Israel: they saw God, and took food and drink.
出24:12 耶和华对摩西说：“你要上山到我这里来，要住在这里；我要把石版，就是我所写的律法和诫命赐给你，使你可以教导人民。”
出24:12 And the Lord said to Moses, Come up to me on the mountain, and take your place there: and I will give you the stones on which I have put in writing the law and the orders, so that you may give the people knowledge of them.
出24:13 于是，摩西和他的侍从约书亚起来；摩西就上到 神的山那里去了。
出24:13 Then Moses and Joshua his servant got up; and Moses went up into the mountain of God.
出24:14 但摩西对长老说：“你们要在这里等候我们，直到我们再回到你们那里来。看哪！这里有亚伦和户珥与你们在一起，谁有诉讼的案件，都可以到他们那里去。”
出24:14 And he said to the chiefs, Keep your places here till we come back to you: Aaron and Hur are with you; if anyone has any cause let him go to them.
出24:15 摩西上到山上，有云彩把山遮盖着。
出24:15 And Moses went up into the mountain, and it was covered by the cloud.
出24:16 耶和华的荣耀停在西奈山上，云彩把山遮盖了六天；第七天，耶和华从云彩中呼唤摩西。
出24:16 And the glory of the Lord was resting on Mount Sinai, and the cloud was over it for six days; and on the seventh day he said Moses' name out of the cloud.
出24:17 耶和华荣耀的景象，在以色列人眼前，好像在山顶上出现烈火。
出24:17 And the glory of the Lord was like a flame on the top of the mountain before the eyes of the children of Israel.
出24:18 摩西进入云彩中，上到山上去；摩西在山上四十昼夜。
出24:18 And Moses went up the mountain, into the cloud, and was there for forty days and forty nights.
