赛34:1 列国啊，要近前来听！众民哪，要留心听！地和地上所充满的，世界和其中所出的一切，都要听！
赛34:1 Come near, you nations, and give ear; take note, you peoples: let the earth and everything in it give ear; the world and all those living in it.
赛34:2 因为耶和华向列国发怒，向他们所有的军队发烈怒，要把他们灭尽，要把他们交出来受屠杀。
赛34:2 For the Lord is angry with all the nations, and his wrath is burning against all their armies: he has put them to the curse, he has given them to destruction.
赛34:3 他们被杀的必被抛弃在外面，尸体的臭气上腾，众山都被他们的血所溶化。
赛34:3 Their dead bodies will be thick on the face of the earth, and their smell will come up, and the mountains will be flowing with their blood, and all the hills will come to nothing.
赛34:4 天上的万象都必消残；天也像书卷一般被卷起，所有星宿也必衰残，像葡萄树的叶子衰残一样，又像无花果树的叶子凋落一样。
赛34:4 And the heavens will be rolled together like the roll of a book: and all their army will be gone, like a dead leaf from the vine, or a dry fruit from the fig-tree.
赛34:5 因为我的刀在天上已经喝足了，看哪！它要落在以东，以及我决定要灭绝的民身上，为要施行审判。
赛34:5 For my sword in heaven is full of wrath: see, it is coming down on Edom, in punishment on the people of my curse.
赛34:6 耶和华的刀染满了血，这刀因脂肪、羊羔和公山羊的血，以及公绵羊腰子的脂肪而滋润，因为耶和华在波斯拉有杀牲献祭的事，在以东地有大屠杀。
赛34:6 The sword of the Lord is full of blood, it is fat with the best of the meat, with the blood of lambs and goats, with the best parts of the sheep: for the Lord has a feast in Bozrah, and much cattle will be put to death in the land of Edom.
赛34:7 野牛、牛犊与壮牛要与他们一同倒下，他们的地喝足了血，他们的尘土因脂肪而肥润。
赛34:7 And the strong oxen will go down to death together with the smaller cattle.
赛34:8 因为耶和华有报仇的日子，为锡安的案件，必有报应之年。
赛34:8 For it is the day of the Lord's punishment, when he gives payment for the wrongs done to Zion.
赛34:9 以东的河水都要变成石油，它的尘土必变成硫磺，它的地土要变成烧着的石油，
赛34:9 And its streams will be turned into boiling oil, and its dust into burning stone, and all the land will be on fire.
赛34:10 昼夜不熄，烟气永远上腾，并且必世世代代变为荒凉，永永远远无人经过。
赛34:10 It will not be put out day or night; its smoke will go up for ever: it will be waste from generation to generation; no one will go through it for ever.
赛34:11 但鹈鹕与箭猪要占据那地，猫头鹰和乌鸦必住在其中。耶和华必把空虚的准绳、混沌的线铊，拉在其上。
赛34:11 But the birds of the waste land will have their place there; it will be a heritage for the bittern and the raven: and it will be measured out with line and weight as a waste land.
赛34:12 它的显贵一个也没有了，以致不能称为一国，所有的领袖也没有了。
赛34:12 The jackals will be there, and her great ones will be gone; they will say, There is no longer a kingdom there, and all her chiefs will have come to an end.
赛34:13 以东的宫殿必长荆棘，它的堡垒必长蒺藜和刺草；它要作野狗的住处，作鸵鸟的居所。
赛34:13 And thorns will come up in her fair houses, and waste plants in her strong towers: and foxes will make their holes there, and it will be a meeting-place for ostriches.
赛34:14 旷野的走兽必与豺狼相遇，野山羊必呼喊牠的同伴；连夜间的怪物也必在那里栖身，为自己寻找休息的地方。
赛34:14 And the beasts of the waste places will come together with the jackals, and the evil spirits will be crying to one another, even the night-spirit will come and make her resting-place there.
赛34:15 箭蛇要在那里筑窝、下蛋、孵蛋，并且聚子在牠的阴影下；鹞鹰也各与自己的伴偶，聚集在那里。
赛34:15 The arrowsnake will make her hole and put her eggs there, and get her young together under her shade: there the hawks will come together by twos.
赛34:16 你们要查考和阅读耶和华的书卷；这些都无一缺少，也没有一个是没有伴偶的，因为他的口已吩咐了，他的灵已把牠们聚集。
赛34:16 See what is recorded in the book of the Lord: all these will be there, not one without the other: the mouth of the Lord has given the order, and his spirit has made them come together.
赛34:17 他也为牠们抽签，他的手用准绳给牠们分地；牠们必永远得着那地，也要世世代代住在其中。
赛34:17 And he has given them their heritage, and by his hand it has been measured out to them: it will be theirs for ever, their resting-place from generation to generation.
