赛41:1 众海岛啊！你们要在我面前静默，愿万民重新得力。让他们近前来，然后说话，让我们聚在一起辩论吧！
赛41:1 Come quietly before me, O sea-lands, and let the peoples get together their strength: let them come near; then let them say what they have to say: let us put forward our cause against one another.
赛41:2 谁从东方激动了一个人，凭公义把他召到自己的脚前来？他把列国交在他面前，他制伏众王；他使他们在他的刀下化作灰尘，他使他们在他的弓下像碎秸一样被吹散。
赛41:2 Who sent out from the east one who is right wherever he goes? he gives the nations into his hands, and makes him ruler over kings; he gives them as the dust to his sword, as dry stems before the wind to his bow.
赛41:3 他追赶他们，安然走过他的脚未曾走过的路。
赛41:3 He goes after them safely, not touching the road with his feet.
赛41:4 谁定这事并且作成？谁从起初预定万代呢？就是我耶和华，我是首先的，与最后的人同在的，也是我。
赛41:4 Whose purpose and work was it? His who sent out the generations from the start. I the Lord, the first, and with the last, I am he.
赛41:5 众海岛看见了，就都惧怕；地极也都战兢；他们都近前来。
赛41:5 The sea-lands saw it, and were in fear; the ends of the earth were shaking: they came near.
赛41:6 各人彼此帮助，对自己的兄弟说：“要坚强！”
赛41:6 They gave help everyone to his neighbour; and everyone said to his brother, Take heart!
赛41:7 木匠坚固金匠，用锤打光金属的，鼓励打砧的；论焊工说：“焊得好！”又用钉子钉稳了。使偶像不致动摇。
赛41:7 So the metal-worker put heart into the gold-worker, and he who was hammering the metal smooth said kind words to the iron-worker, saying of the plate, It is ready: and he put it together with nails, so that there might be no slipping.
赛41:8 但你以色列，我的仆人啊！雅各，我所拣选、我朋友亚伯拉罕的后裔啊！
赛41:8 But as for you, Israel, my servant, and you, Jacob, whom I have taken for myself, the seed of Abraham my friend:
赛41:9 你是我从地极抓来的，我从地的远方召你来，对你说：“你是我的仆人，我拣选了你，并没有弃绝你。”
赛41:9 You whom I have taken from the ends of the earth, and sent for from its farthest parts, saying to you, You are my servant, whom I have taken for myself, and whom I have not given up:
赛41:10 不要惧怕，因为我与你同在；不要四处张望，因为我是你的 神，我必坚固你，我必帮助你；我必用公义的右手扶持你。
赛41:10 Have no fear, for I am with you; do not be looking about in trouble, for I am your God; I will give you strength, yes, I will be your helper; yes, my true right hand will be your support.
赛41:11 看哪！向你发怒的都必蒙羞受辱；与你相争的人，都要如同无有，并要灭亡。
赛41:11 Truly, all those who are angry with you will be made low and put to shame: those desiring to do you wrong will come to nothing and never again be seen.
赛41:12 与你争竞的人，你要寻找他们，却找不着；与你交战的人，都必如同无有，好像虚无。
赛41:12 You will make search for your haters but they will not be there; those who make war against you will be as nothing and will come to destruction.
赛41:13 因为我，耶和华你们的 神，紧握着你的右手，对你说：“不要惧怕，我必帮助你。”
赛41:13 For I, the Lord your God, have taken your right hand in mine, saying to you, Have no fear; I will be your helper.
赛41:14 虫子雅各啊！以色列人哪！你不要惧怕。我必帮助你；这是耶和华说的。你的救赎主，就是以色列的圣者。
赛41:14 Have no fear, you worm Jacob, and you men of Israel; I will be your helper, says the Lord, even he who takes up your cause, the Holy One of Israel.
赛41:15 看哪！我要使你成为打粮的器具，又新，又锋利，又有很多利齿；你要扬净群山，把它们压得粉碎，又使冈陵变成糠秕。
赛41:15 See, I will make you like a new grain-crushing instrument with teeth, crushing the mountains small, and making the hills like dry stems.
赛41:16 你必簸扬它们，风要把它们吹去，旋风也要把它们吹散；但你要靠耶和华喜乐，以以色列的圣者夸耀。
赛41:16 You will send the wind over them, and it will take them away; they will go in all directions before the storm-wind: you will have joy in the Lord, and be glad in the Holy One of Israel.
赛41:17 困苦和贫穷的人寻求水，却没有水；他们的舌头因口渴而干燥；我耶和华必应允他们，我以色列的 神必不离弃他们。
赛41:17 The poor and crushed are looking for water where no water is, and their tongue is dry for need of it: I the Lord will give ear to their prayer, I the God of Israel will not give them up.
赛41:18 我要在光秃的高处开辟江河，在山谷之间开辟泉源；我要使旷野变为水池，使干地变成水泉。
赛41:18 I will make rivers on the dry mountain-tops, and fountains in the valleys: I will make the waste land a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water.
赛41:19 我要在旷野种上香柏树、皂荚树、番石榴树和野橄榄树；我要在沙漠中栽种松树、杉树和黄杨树，
赛41:19 I will put in the waste land the cedar, the acacia, the myrtle, and the olive-tree; and in the lowland will be planted the fir-tree, the plane, and the cypress together:
赛41:20 好叫人看见了，就知道；思想过，就都明白，这是耶和华的手所作的，是以色列的圣者所造的。
赛41:20 So that they may see and be wise and give their mind to it, and that it may be clear to them all that the hand of the Lord has done this, and that the Holy One of Israel has made it.
赛41:21 耶和华说：“呈上你们的案件吧！”雅各的王说：“把你们有力的证据拿来吧！”
赛41:21 Put forward your cause, says the Lord; let your strong argument come out, says the King of Jacob.
赛41:22 让它们前来告诉我们将要发生的事。以前的是什么事，让它们告诉我们，好叫我们用心思想，得知事情的结局。或者向我们宣告那要来的事。
赛41:22 Let the future be made clear to us: give us news of the past things, so that we may give thought to them; or of the things to come, so that we may see if they are true.
赛41:23 把以后要来的事告诉我们，好叫我们知道你们是神；你们作这些事，或降福或降祸，以致我们彼此对望，一齐观看。
赛41:23 Give us word of what will be after this, so that we may be certain that you are gods: yes, do good or do evil, so that we may all see it and be surprised.
赛41:24 看哪！你们属于无有，你们的作为都属于虚空，那选择你们的是可厌恶的。
赛41:24 But you are nothing, and your work is of no value: foolish is he who takes you for his gods.
赛41:25 我从北方兴起一人，他就来了；他从日出之地而来，呼求我的名；他必来践踏掌权的，好像践踏灰泥，又像陶匠踹泥一样。
赛41:25 I have sent for one from the north, and from the dawn he has come; in my name he will get rulers together and go against them; they will be like dust, even as the wet earth is stamped on by the feet of the potter.
赛41:26 谁从起初讲说这事，使我们知道呢？谁从先前说明，以致我们说“他没有错”呢？谁也没有说明，谁也没有宣告，谁也没有听见你们的话！
赛41:26 Who has given knowledge of it from the first, so that we may be certain of it? and from the start, so that we may say, His word is true? There is no one who gives news, or says anything, or who gives ear to your words.
赛41:27 我首先对锡安说：“看哪，看看这些！”我要把一位报好信息的赐给耶路撒冷。
赛41:27 I was the first to give word of it to Zion, and I gave the good news to Jerusalem.
赛41:28 我看的时候，却没有一个人；他们中间也没有谋士，我问他们的时候，可以回答一句话。
赛41:28 And I saw that there was no man, even no wise man among them, who might give an answer to my questions.
赛41:29 看哪！他们都是无有，他们所作的都是虚无；他们所铸的偶像都是风，都是虚空。
赛41:29 Truly they are all nothing, their works are nothing and of no value: their metal images are of no more use than wind.
