赛55:1 唉！口渴的人哪！你们都就近水来吧。没有银钱的，你们也要来，买了就吃。你们要来，买酒和奶，不用银子，也不用付代价。
赛55:1 Ho! everyone in need, come to the waters, and he who has no strength, let him get food: come, get bread without money; wine and milk without price.
赛55:2 你们为什么用银子去买那不是食物的呢？为什么用你们劳碌得来的去买那不能使人饱足的呢？你们要留心听我的话，就可以吃美物，使你们的心灵享受肥甘。
赛55:2 Why do you give your money for what is not bread, and the fruit of your work for what will not give you pleasure? Give ear to me, so that your food may be good, and you may have the best in full measure.
赛55:3 你们要侧耳而听，要到我这里来；你们要听，就可以存活；我必与你们立永远的约，就是应许赐给大卫的那确实的慈爱。
赛55:3 Give ear, and come to me, take note with care, so that your souls may have life: and I will make an eternal agreement with you, even the certain mercies of David.
赛55:4 看哪！我已经立了他作万族的见证人，为万族的首领和司令。
赛55:4 See, I have given him as a witness to the peoples, a ruler and a guide to the nations.
赛55:5 看哪！你要召聚你不认识的国；那些素来不认识你的国也必奔向你，都因耶和华你的 神、以色列的圣者的缘故，因为他已经荣耀了你。
赛55:5 See, you will send for a nation of which you had no knowledge, and those who had no knowledge of you will come running to you, because of the Lord your God, and because of the Holy One of Israel, for he has given you glory.
赛55:6 你们要趁着耶和华可以寻找的时候，寻找他，趁着他靠近的时候，呼求他。
赛55:6 Make search for the Lord while he is there, make prayer to him while he is near:
赛55:7 恶人要离弃自己的道路，不义的人当除去自己的意念，回转过来归向耶和华，耶和华就必怜悯他。你们当回转过来归向我们的 神，因为他大大赦免人的罪。
赛55:7 Let the sinner give up his way, and the evil-doer his purpose: and let him come back to the Lord, and he will have mercy on him; and to our God, for there is full forgiveness with him.
赛55:8 耶和华说：“我的意念不是你们的意念，你们的道路也不是我的道路。
赛55:8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, or your ways my ways, says the Lord.
赛55:9 天怎样高过地，我的道路也怎样高过你们的道路，我的意念也怎样高过你们的意念。
赛55:9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
赛55:10 雨雪怎样从天上降下来，不再返回天上，却灌溉大地，使地上的植物发芽结实，使撒种的有种子，吃的人有粮食；
赛55:10 For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, and does not go back again, but gives water to the earth, and makes it fertile, giving seed to the planter, and bread for food;
赛55:11 从我的口所出的话也必这样，必不徒然返回我这里，却要作成我所喜悦的，使它在我差遣它去作的事上必然亨通。
赛55:11 So will my word be which goes out of my mouth: it will not come back to me with nothing done, but it will give effect to my purpose, and do that for which I have sent it.
赛55:12 你们必欢欢喜喜出来，平平安安蒙引导；大山小山都必在你们面前发声欢呼，田野所有的树木也都拍掌。
赛55:12 For you will go out with joy, and be guided in peace: the mountains and the hills will make melody before you, and all the trees of the fields will make sounds of joy.
赛55:13 松树要长起来代替荆棘，番石榴要长起来代替蒺藜。这要为耶和华留名，作永远不能废掉的记号。”
赛55:13 In place of the thorn will come up the fir-tree, and in place of the blackberry the myrtle: and it will be to the Lord for a name, for an eternal sign which will not be cut off.
