诗3:1 大卫的诗，是在逃避他儿子押沙龙时作的。（除特别注明外，诗篇开首细字的标题在《马索拉抄本》都属于第1节，原文的第2节即是译文的第1节，依次类推。）耶和华啊！我的仇敌竟然这么多。起来攻击我的竟然那么多。
诗3:1 <A Psalm. Of David. When he went in flight from Absalom his son.> Lord, how greatly are they increased who make attacks on me! in great numbers they come against me.
诗3:2 有很多人议论我说：“他从 神那里得不到救助。”（细拉）
诗3:2 Unnumbered are those who say of my soul, There is no help for him in God. (Selah.)
诗3:3 耶和华啊！你却是我周围的盾牌，是我的荣耀，是使我抬起头来的。
诗3:3 But your strength, O Lord, is round me, you are my glory and the lifter up of my head.
诗3:4 我发声向耶和华呼求的时候，他就从他的圣山上回答我。（细拉）
诗3:4 I send up a cry to the Lord with my voice, and he gives me an answer from his holy hill. (Selah.)
诗3:5 我躺下，我睡觉，我醒来，都因耶和华在扶持着我。
诗3:5 I took my rest in sleep, and then again I was awake; for the Lord was my support.
诗3:6 虽有千万人包围攻击我，我也不怕。
诗3:6 I will have no fear, though ten thousand have come round me, putting themselves against me.
诗3:7 耶和华啊！求你起来；我的 神啊！求你拯救我，你击打了我所有仇敌的脸颊，打碎了恶人的牙齿。
诗3:7 Come to me, Lord; keep me safe, O my God; for you have given all my haters blows on their face-bones; the teeth of the evil-doers have been broken by you.
诗3:8 救恩属于耶和华，愿你赐福给你的子民。（细拉）
诗3:8 Salvation comes from the Lord; your blessing is on your people. (Selah.)
