诗124:1 <A Song of the going up. Of David.> If it had not been the Lord who was on our side (let Israel now say);
诗124:2 如果不是耶和华帮助我们；那么，人起来攻击我们，1
诗124:2 If it had not been the Lord who was on our side, when men came up against us;
诗124:3 向我们发怒的时候，就把我们活活吞下去了。
诗124:3 They would have made a meal of us while still living, in the heat of their wrath against us:
诗124:4 那时，洪水漫过我们，急流淹没我们；1
诗124:4 We would have been covered by the waters; the streams would have gone over our soul;
诗124:5 汹涌的洪水把我们淹没。
诗124:5 Yes, the waters of pride would have gone over our soul.
诗124:6 耶和华是应当称颂的，他没有容让敌人把我们当作猎物撕裂。
诗124:6 Praise be to the Lord, who has not let us be wounded by their teeth.
诗124:7 我们像雀鸟从捕鸟的人的网罗里逃脱；网罗破裂，我们就逃脱了。
诗124:7 Our soul has gone free like a bird out of the net of those who would take her: the net is broken, and we are free.
诗124:8 我们的帮助在于耶和华的名，他是造天地的主。
