诗37:1 大卫的诗。不要因作恶的人心怀不平，不要因犯罪的人产生嫉妒。（本节在《马索拉抄本》包括细字标题）
诗37:1 <Of David.> Do not be angry because of the wrongdoers, or have envy of the workers of evil.
诗37:2 因为他们好像草快要枯干，像即将凋萎的青草。
诗37:2 For they will quickly be cut down like grass, and become dry like the green plants.
诗37:3 你要倚靠耶和华，并要行善；你要住在地上，以信实为粮食。
诗37:3 Have faith in the Lord, and do good; be at rest in the land, and go after righteousness.
诗37:4 你要以耶和华为乐，他就把你心里所求的赐给你。
诗37:4 So will your delight be in the Lord, and he will give you your heart's desires.
诗37:5 你要把你的道路交托耶和华，并倚靠他，他就必成全。
诗37:5 Put your life in the hands of the Lord; have faith in him and he will do it.
诗37:6 他必使你的公义好像光发出，使你的公正如日中天。
诗37:6 And he will make your righteousness be seen like the light, and your cause like the shining of the sun.
诗37:7 你要在耶和华面前静默无声，耐心地等候他；不要因那凡事顺利的，和那恶谋得逞的，心怀不平。
诗37:7 Take your rest in the Lord, waiting quietly for him; do not be angry because of the man who does well in his evil ways, and gives effect to his bad designs.
诗37:8 你要抑制怒气，消除烈怒；不要心怀不平，那只会导致你作恶。
诗37:8 Put an end to your wrath and be no longer bitter; do not give way to angry feeling which is a cause of sin.
诗37:9 因为作恶的必被剪除，但等候耶和华的必承受地土。
诗37:9 For the evil-doers will be cut off: but those who have faith in the Lord will have the earth for their heritage.
诗37:10 再过不久，恶人就不存在了；你到他的地方寻找，也找不到。
诗37:10 For in a short time the evil-doer will be gone: you will go searching for his place, and it will not be there.
诗37:11 但谦卑的人必承受地土，可以享受丰盛的平安。
诗37:11 But the gentle will have the earth for their heritage; they will take their delight in peace without measure.
诗37:12 恶人谋害义人，向他咬牙切齿；
诗37:12 The sinner has evil designs against the upright, lifting up the voice of wrath against him.
诗37:13 但主必笑他，因为知道他遭报的日子快要来到。
诗37:13 He will be laughed at by the Lord, who sees that his day is coming.
诗37:14 恶人已经拔出刀来，拉开了弓，要打倒困苦和贫穷的人，杀害行为正直的人。
诗37:14 The evil-doers have taken out their swords, their bows are bent; for crushing the poor, and to put to death those who are upright in their ways.
诗37:15 他们的刀必刺入自己的心，他们的弓必被折断。
诗37:15 But their swords will be turned into their hearts, and their bows will be broken.
诗37:16 一个义人拥有的虽少，胜过许多恶人的财富。
诗37:16 The little which the good man has is better than the wealth of evil-doers.
诗37:17 因为恶人的膀臂必被折断，耶和华却扶持义人。
诗37:17 For the arms of the evil-doers will be broken: but the Lord is the support of the good.
诗37:18 耶和华眷顾完全人在世的日子，他们的产业必存到永远。
诗37:18 The days of the upright are numbered by the Lord, and their heritage will be for ever.
诗37:19 在患难的时候，他们必不蒙羞；在饥荒的日子，他们必得饱足。
诗37:19 They will not be shamed in the evil time, and in the days when all are in need of food they will have enough.
诗37:20 恶人却必灭亡；耶和华的仇敌好像草场的华美，他们必要消失，像烟一般消失。
诗37:20 But the wrongdoers will come to destruction, and the haters of the Lord will be like the fat of lambs, they will be burned up; they will go up in smoke, and never again be seen.
诗37:21 恶人借贷总不偿还，义人却慷慨施舍。
诗37:21 The sinner takes money and does not give it back; but the upright man has mercy, and gives to others.
诗37:22 蒙耶和华赐福的，必承受地土；受他咒诅的，必被剪除。
诗37:22 Those who have his blessing will have the earth for their heritage; but those who are cursed by him will be cut off.
诗37:23 人的脚步是耶和华立定的，他的道路也是耶和华喜悦的。
诗37:23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and he takes delight in his way.
诗37:24 他虽然跌跤，却不至仆倒；因为耶和华用手扶持他。
诗37:24 Even if he has a fall he will not be without help: for the hand of the Lord is supporting him.
诗37:25 我从前年幼，现在年老，从未见过义人被弃，也从未见过他的后裔讨饭。
诗37:25 I have been young, and now am old, but I have not seen the good man without help, or his children looking for bread.
诗37:26 他常常慷慨借给人；他的后裔必定蒙福。
诗37:26 All the day he is ready to have mercy and to give; his children are a blessing.
诗37:27 应当离恶行善，你就可以永远安居。
诗37:27 Be turned from evil, and do good; and your place will be for ever.
诗37:28 因为耶和华喜爱公正，也不撇弃他的圣民；他们必永远蒙庇佑，恶人的后裔却必被剪除。
诗37:28 For the Lord is a lover of righteousness, and takes care of his saints; they will be kept safe for ever; but the seed of the evil-doers will be cut off.
诗37:29 义人必承受地土，永远居住在自己的地上。
诗37:29 The upright will have the earth for their heritage, and will go on living there for ever.
诗37:30 义人的口说出智慧，他的舌头讲论正义。
诗37:30 The mouth of the good man says words of wisdom; the talk of his tongue is of righteousness.
诗37:31 神的律法在他心里，他的脚步必不滑跌。
诗37:31 The law of his God is in his heart; he will never make a false step.
诗37:32 恶人窥伺义人，想要杀死他。
诗37:32 The sinners are watching the upright man, desiring to put him to death.
诗37:33 耶和华必不把他撇弃在恶人的手中，在审判的时候，也不定他的罪。
诗37:33 The Lord will not give him into their hands, or be against him when he is judged.
诗37:34 你要等候耶和华，谨守他的道；他必高举你，使你承受地土；恶人被剪除的时候，你必看见。
诗37:34 Be waiting for the Lord, and keep his way; and you will be lifted up, and have the land for your heritage: when the evil-doers are cut off, you will see it.
诗37:35 我曾看见强暴的恶人兴旺，像树木在本土茂盛。
诗37:35 I have seen the evil-doer in great power, covering the earth like a great tree.
诗37:36 但他很快就消逝，不再存在了；我寻找他，却找不到。
诗37:36 But he came to an end, and there was no sign of him; I made a search for him and he was not there.
诗37:37 你要细察完全人，观看正直人；因为爱和平的必有后代。
诗37:37 Give attention to the good man, and take note of the upright; because the end of that man is peace.
诗37:38 犯罪的人必一同灭绝，恶人的后代必被剪除。
诗37:38 But as for the sinners, they will be cut off together; the end of the wrongdoers is destruction.
诗37:39 义人的拯救是由耶和华而来；在患难的时候，他作他们的避难所。
诗37:39 But the Lord is the saviour of the upright: he is their strength in the time of trouble.
诗37:40 耶和华帮助他们，搭救他们；他搭救他们脱离恶人，拯救他们，因为他们投靠他。
诗37:40 And the Lord will be their help, and keep them safe: he will take them out of the hands of the evil-doers, and be their saviour, because they had faith in him.
