诗56:1 大卫的金诗，交给诗班长，调用“远方无声鸽”，是大卫在迦特被非利士人捉住时作的。 神啊！求你恩待我，因为人要践踏我；他们终日攻击我，迫害我。
诗56:1 <To the chief music-maker; put to Jonath elem rehokim. Of David. Michtam. When the Philistines took him in Gath.> Have mercy on me, O God, for man is attempting my destruction; every day he makes cruel attacks against me.
诗56:2 我的仇敌终日践踏我，攻击我的人很多。
诗56:2 My haters are ever ready to put an end to me; great numbers are lifting themselves up against me.
诗56:3 至高者（“至高者”原文放在第2节末，在那里或译：“因逞骄傲攻击我的人很多”）啊！我惧怕的时候，就要倚靠你。
诗56:3 In the time of my fear, I will have faith in you.
诗56:4 靠着 神，我要赞美他的话；我倚靠 神，就必不惧怕，人能把我怎么样呢？
诗56:4 In God will I give praise to his word; in God have I put my hope; I will have no fear of what flesh may do to me.
诗56:5 他们终日歪曲我的话，常常设计谋陷害我。
诗56:5 Every day they make wrong use of my words; all their thoughts are against me for evil.
诗56:6 他们聚集在一起，埋伏着，窥探我的脚踪，等候要害我的性命。
诗56:6 They come together, they are waiting in secret places, they take note of my steps, they are waiting for my soul.
诗56:7 愿他们因罪孽的缘故不能逃脱； 神啊！愿你在怒中使这些人败落。
诗56:7 By evil-doing they will not get free from punishment. In wrath, O God, let the peoples be made low.
诗56:8 我多次流离，你都数算；你把我的眼泪装在你的皮袋里。这不都记在你的册子上吗？
诗56:8 You have seen my wanderings; put the drops from my eyes into your bottle; are they not in your record?
诗56:9 我呼求你的时候，我的仇敌就都转身退后；因此我知道 神是帮助我的。
诗56:9 When I send up my cry to you, my haters will be turned back; I am certain of this, for God is with me.
诗56:10 靠着 神，我要赞美他的话；靠着耶和华，我要赞美他的话。
诗56:10 In God will I give praise to his word; in the Lord will I give praise to his word.
诗56:11 我倚靠 神，就必不惧怕，人能把我怎么样呢？
诗56:11 In God have I put my hope, I will have no fear of what man may do to me.
诗56:12 神啊！我要偿还我向你所许的愿，我要把感谢祭献给你。
诗56:12 I keep the memory of my debt to you, O God; I will give you the offerings of praise.
诗56:13 因为你救了我的性命脱离死亡；你不是救了我的脚不跌倒，使我在生命的光中，行在 神你的面前吗？
诗56:13 Because you have taken my soul from the power of death; and kept my feet from falling, so that I may be walking before God in the light of life.
