诗78:1 亚萨的训诲诗。我的民哪！你们要留心听我的教训，侧耳听我口中的言语。（本节在《马索拉抄本》包括细字标题）
诗78:1 <Maschil. Of Asaph.> Give ear, O my people, to my law; let your ears be bent down to the words of my mouth.
诗78:2 我要开口用比喻，把古时隐秘的事说出来，
诗78:2 Opening my mouth I will give out a story, even the dark sayings of old times;
诗78:3 就是我们所听过所知道的，也是我们的列祖告诉我们的，
诗78:3 Which have come to our hearing and our knowledge, as they were given to us by our fathers.
诗78:4 我们不把这些事向他们的子孙隐瞒，却要把耶和华应得的赞美、他的能力，和他所行的奇事，都向后代的人述说。
诗78:4 We will not keep them secret from our children; we will make clear to the coming generation the praises of the Lord and his strength, and the great works of wonder which he has done.
诗78:5 他在雅各设立法度，在以色列中制订律法，就是他吩咐我们的列祖，去教训他们的子孙的，
诗78:5 He put up a witness in Jacob, and made a law in Israel; which he gave to our fathers so that they might give knowledge of them to their children;
诗78:6 好使后代的人，包括将要出生的儿女，都可以知道；他们也要起来，告诉他们的子孙，
诗78:6 So that the generation to come might have knowledge of them, even the children of the future, who would give word of them to their children;
诗78:7 使他们信靠 神，不忘记 神的作为，谨守他的诫命；
诗78:7 So that they might put their hope in God, and not let God's works go out of their minds, but keep his laws;
诗78:8 免得他们像他们的列祖，成了顽梗悖逆的一代，心不坚定的一代，他们的心对 神不忠。
诗78:8 And not be like their fathers, a stiff-necked and uncontrolled generation; a generation whose heart was hard, whose spirit was not true to God.
诗78:9 以法莲的子孙，虽然备有弓箭，在争战的日子，却转身逃走。
诗78:9 The children of Ephraim, armed with bows, were turned back on the day of the fight.
诗78:10 他们不谨守 神的约，不肯遵行他的律法。
诗78:10 They were not ruled by God's word, and they would not go in the way of his law;
诗78:11 他们忘记了 神的作为，和他显给他们看的奇事。
诗78:11 They let his works go out of their memory, and the wonders which he had made them see.
诗78:12 他在埃及地，在琐安的田野，在他们列祖的眼前，行了奇事。
诗78:12 He did great works before the eyes of their fathers, in the land of Egypt, in the fields of Zoan.
诗78:13 他把海分开，领他们走过去，又使海水直立像一道堤坝。
诗78:13 The sea was cut in two so that they might go through; the waters were massed together on this side and on that.
诗78:14 白日他用云彩，夜间他用火光引导他们。
诗78:14 In the daytime he was guiding them in the cloud, and all through the night with a light of fire.
诗78:15 他在旷野使盘石裂开，给他们水喝，多如深渊的水。
诗78:15 The rocks of the waste land were broken by his power, and he gave them drink as out of the deep waters.
诗78:16 他使水从盘石中涌出来，使水好像江河一般流下。
诗78:16 He made streams come out of the rock; and waters came flowing down like rivers.
诗78:17 但他们仍然犯罪顶撞他，在干旱之地仍然悖逆至高者。
诗78:17 And they went on sinning against him even more, turning away from the Most High in the waste land;
诗78:18 他们心里试探 神，随着自己的欲望要求食物。
诗78:18 Testing God in their hearts, requesting meat for their desire.
诗78:19 他们妄论 神，说：“ 神可以在旷野摆设筵席吗？
诗78:19 They said bitter words against God, saying, Is God able to make ready a table in the waste land?
诗78:20 他虽曾击打盘石，使水涌出来，好像江河泛滥，他还能赐粮食吗？他还能为自己的子民预备肉食吗？”
诗78:20 See, the rock was cut open by his power, so that the water came rushing out, and overflowing streams; is he able to give us bread? is he able to get meat for his people?
诗78:21 因此耶和华听见了，就大怒；有烈火在雅各烧起，有怒气向以色列发作。
诗78:21 So these things came to the Lord's ears, and he was angry; and a fire was lighted against Jacob, and wrath came up against Israel;
诗78:22 因为他们不相信 神，不倚靠他的拯救。
诗78:22 Because they had no faith in God, and no hope in his salvation.
诗78:23 然而，他吩咐天上的云彩，打开天上的门户。
诗78:23 And he gave orders to the clouds on high, and the doors of heaven were open;
诗78:24 他降吗哪给他们吃，把天上的食物赐给他们。
诗78:24 And he sent down manna like rain for their food, and gave them the grain of heaven.
诗78:25 于是人吃了天使的食物，是 神赐下的食粮，使他们饱足。
诗78:25 Man took part in the food of strong ones; he sent them meat in full measure.
诗78:26 他从天空刮起东风，施能力领出南风。
诗78:26 He sent an east wind from heaven, driving on the south wind by his power.
诗78:27 他降肉食给他们，多如尘土；又降飞鸟给他们，多如海沙。
诗78:27 He sent down meat on them like dust, and feathered birds like the sand of the sea,
诗78:28 他使飞鸟落在他们的营中，在他们住处的四围。
诗78:28 And he let it come down into their resting-place, round about their tents.
诗78:29 他们吃了，而且吃得很饱，这样， 神把他们所愿的都赐给他们了。
诗78:29 So they had food and were full; for he gave them their desire;
诗78:30 他们还没有因所愿的满足，食物仍在他们口中的时候，
诗78:30 But they were not turned from their desires; and while the food was still in their mouths,
诗78:31 神的怒气就向他们发作，杀了他们中间最肥壮的人，击倒了以色列的年轻人。
诗78:31 The wrath of God came on them, and put to death the fattest of them, and put an end to the young men of Israel.
诗78:32 虽然经历了这一切，他们仍然犯罪；尽管看见这些奇事，他们仍不相信。
诗78:32 For all this they went on sinning even more, and had no faith in his great wonders.
诗78:33 所以 神使他们的日子在虚空中消逝，使他们的岁月在惊恐中完结。
诗78:33 So their days were wasted like a breath, and their years in trouble.
诗78:34 神击杀他们的时候，他们就寻求他；他们回转过来，切切求问 神。
诗78:34 When he sent death on them, then they made search for him; turning to him and looking for him with care;
诗78:35 他们也想起 神是他们的盘石，至高的 神是他们的救赎主。
诗78:35 In the memory that God was their Rock, and the Most High God their saviour.
诗78:36 但他们仍然用口欺骗他，用舌头向他说谎。
诗78:36 But their lips were false to him, and their tongues were untrue to him;
诗78:37 他们的心对他不坚定，也不忠于和他所立的约。
诗78:37 And their hearts were not right with him, and they did not keep their agreement with him.
诗78:38 他却有怜悯，赦免罪孽，没有把他们灭绝，并且多次抑制自己的怒气，没有完全宣泄他的烈怒。
诗78:38 But he, being full of pity, has forgiveness for sin, and does not put an end to man: frequently turning back his wrath, and not being violently angry.
诗78:39 他顾念他们不过是人，是一阵吹去不再返回的风。
诗78:39 So he kept in mind that they were only flesh; a breath which is quickly gone, and will not come again.
诗78:40 他们多少次在旷野悖逆他，在沙漠使他担忧；
诗78:40 How frequently did they go against him in the waste land, and give him cause for grief in the dry places!
诗78:41 他们再三试探 神，使以色列的圣者忧伤。
诗78:41 Again they put God to the test, and gave pain to the Holy One of Israel.
诗78:42 他们忘记了他的能力，就是他救赎他们脱离敌人的日子，
诗78:42 They did not keep in mind the work of his hand, or the day when he took them from the power of their haters;
诗78:43 他怎样在埃及显神迹，在琐安的田野行奇事。
诗78:43 How he had done his signs in Egypt, and his wonders in the field of Zoan;
诗78:44 他把他们的江河都变为血，使他们不能喝河流的水。
诗78:44 So that their rivers were turned to blood, and they were not able to get drink from their streams.
诗78:45 他使成群的苍蝇到他们中间来，吞吃他们；又使青蛙来毁灭他们。
诗78:45 He sent different sorts of flies among them, poisoning their flesh; and frogs for their destruction.
诗78:46 他把他们的农产交给蚱蜢，把他们辛劳的收获交给蝗虫。
诗78:46 He gave the increase of their fields to worms, the fruits of their industry to the locusts.
诗78:47 他用冰雹摧毁他们的葡萄树，用严霜冻坏他们的桑树。
诗78:47 He sent ice for the destruction of their vines; their trees were damaged by the bitter cold.
诗78:48 又把他们的牲畜交给冰雹，把他们的群畜交给闪电。
诗78:48 Ice was rained down on their cattle; thunderstorms sent destruction among the flocks.
诗78:49 他使猛烈的怒气、忿怒、愤恨、患难，好像一群降灾的使者，临到他们中间。
诗78:49 He sent on them the heat of his wrath, his bitter disgust, letting loose evil angels among them.
诗78:50 他为自己的怒气修平了路，不惜使他们死亡，把他们的性命交给瘟疫。
诗78:50 He let his wrath have its way; he did not keep back their soul from death, but gave their life to disease.
诗78:51 他在埃及击杀了所有的长子，在含的帐棚中击杀了他们强壮时生的头胎子。
诗78:51 He gave to destruction all the first sons of Egypt; the first-fruits of their strength in the tents of Ham;
诗78:52 他却把自己的子民领出来好像领羊群，在旷野引导他们像引导群畜一样。
诗78:52 But he took his people out like sheep, guiding them in the waste land like a flock.
诗78:53 他带领他们平平安安地走过去，所以他们不惧怕；海却淹没了他们的仇敌。
诗78:53 He took them on safely so that they had no fear; but their haters were covered by the sea.
诗78:54 他领他们进入自己圣地的境界，到他右手所得的这山地。
诗78:54 And he was their guide to his holy land, even to the mountain, which his right hand had made his;
诗78:55 他在他们面前把外族人赶出去，用绳子量地，分给他们作为产业，又使以色列众支派的人居住在自己的帐棚里。
诗78:55 Driving out nations before them, marking out the line of their heritage, and giving the people of Israel their tents for a resting-place.
诗78:56 但他们仍然试探和悖逆至高的 神，不谨守他的法则。
诗78:56 But they were bitter against the Most High God, testing him, and not keeping his laws;
诗78:57 他们背信不忠，像他们的列祖一样；他们改变了，如同不可靠的弓。
诗78:57 Their hearts were turned back and untrue like their fathers; they were turned to one side like a twisted bow.
诗78:58 因他们的邱坛，惹起他的怒气，因他们雕刻的偶像，激起他的愤恨。
诗78:58 They made him angry with their high places; moving him to wrath with their images.
诗78:59 神听见就大怒，完全弃绝了以色列。
诗78:59 When this came to God's ears he was very angry, and gave up Israel completely;
诗78:60 他丢弃了在示罗的居所，就是他在世人中间居住的帐棚。
诗78:60 So that he went away from the holy place in Shiloh, the tent which he had put among men;
诗78:61 他又把象征他权能的约柜交给人掳去，把他的荣美交在敌人的手里，
诗78:61 And he let his strength be taken prisoner, and gave his glory into the hands of his hater.
诗78:62 并且把自己的子民交给刀剑，向自己的产业大发烈怒。
诗78:62 He gave his people up to the sword, and was angry with his heritage.
诗78:63 他们的青年被火吞灭，他们的少女也听不见结婚的喜歌。
诗78:63 Their young men were burned in the fire; and their virgins were not praised in the bride-song.
诗78:64 他们的祭司倒在刀下，他们的寡妇却不能哀哭。
诗78:64 Their priests were put to death by the sword, and their widows made no weeping for them.
诗78:65 那时主好像从睡眠中醒过来，如同勇士酒后清醒一样。
诗78:65 Then was the Lord like one awaking from sleep, and like a strong man crying out because of wine.
诗78:66 他击退了他的敌人，使他们永远蒙羞受辱。
诗78:66 His haters were turned back by his blows and shamed for ever.
诗78:67 他弃绝约瑟的帐棚，不拣选以法莲支派，
诗78:67 And he put the tent of Joseph on one side, and took not the tribe of Ephraim;
诗78:68 却拣选了犹大支派，他所爱的锡安山。
诗78:68 But he took the tribe of Judah for himself, and the mountain of Zion, in which he had pleasure.
诗78:69 他建造了自己的圣所好像在高天之上，又像他所建立永存的大地。
诗78:69 And he made his holy place like the high heaven, like the earth which is fixed by him for ever.
诗78:70 他拣选了自己的仆人大卫，把他从羊圈中召出来；
诗78:70 He took David to be his servant, taking him from the place of the flocks;
诗78:71 他领他出来，使他不再跟着那些母羊，却要牧养他的子民雅各，和他的产业以色列。
诗78:71 From looking after the sheep which were giving milk, he took him to give food to Jacob his people, and to Israel his heritage.
诗78:72 于是大卫以正直的心牧养他们，灵巧地引导他们。
诗78:72 So he gave them food with an upright heart, guiding them by the wisdom of his hands.
