诗20:1 大卫的诗，交给诗班长。愿耶和华在你遭难的日子应允你，愿雅各的 神的名保护你。
诗20:1 <To the chief music-maker. A Psalm. Of David.> May the Lord give ear to you in the day of trouble; may you be placed on high by the name of the God of Jacob;
诗20:2 愿他从圣所帮助你，从锡安扶持你。
诗20:2 May he send you help from the holy place, and give you strength from Zion;
诗20:3 愿他记念你的一切素祭，悦纳你的燔祭。（细拉）
诗20:3 May he keep all your offerings in mind, and be pleased with the fat of your burned offerings; (Selah.)
诗20:4 愿他照着你的心愿赏赐你，实现你的一切计划。
诗20:4 May he give you your heart's desire, and put all your purposes into effect.
诗20:5 我们要因你的胜利欢呼，因我们 神的名高举旗帜；愿耶和华实现你所求的一切。
诗20:5 We will be glad in your salvation, and in the name of our God we will put up our flags: may the Lord give you all your requests.
诗20:6 现在我确知，耶和华拯救自己的受膏者；他必从他的圣天上应允他，用自己右手的能力拯救他。
诗20:6 Now am I certain that the Lord gives salvation to his king; he will give him an answer from his holy heaven with the strength of salvation in his right hand.
诗20:7 有人靠车，有人靠马。我们却靠耶和华我们 神的名。
诗20:7 Some put their faith in carriages and some in horses; but we will be strong in the name of the Lord our God.
诗20:8 他们都屈身跌倒，我们却起来，挺身而立。
诗20:8 They are bent down and made low; but we have been lifted up.
诗20:9 耶和华啊！求你拯救君王！我们呼求的时候，愿你应允我们（“愿你应允我们”按照《马索拉抄本》应作“愿他应允我们”；现参照《七十士译本》翻译）。
诗20:9 Come to our help, Lord: let the king give ear to our cry.
