诗12:1 大卫的诗，交给诗班长，调用“舍尼”。耶和华啊！求你施行拯救，因为虔诚人没有了，在世人中的信实人也不见了。
诗12:1 <For the chief music-maker on the Sheminith. A Psalm. Of David.> Send help, Lord, for mercy has come to an end; there is no more faith among the children of men.
诗12:2 他们彼此说谎，用谄媚的嘴唇说话，口是心非。
诗12:2 Everyone says false words to his neighbour: their tongues are smooth in their talk, and their hearts are full of deceit.
诗12:3 愿耶和华剪除一切说谄媚话的嘴唇，和说夸大话的舌头。
诗12:3 The smooth lips and the tongue of pride will be cut off by the Lord.
诗12:4 他们曾说：“我们必能以舌头取胜；我们的嘴唇是自己的，谁能作我们的主呢？”
诗12:4 They have said, With our tongues will we overcome; our lips are ours: who is lord over us?
诗12:5 耶和华说：“因为困苦人的冤屈和贫穷人的叹息，我现在要起来，把他们安置在他们渴望的稳妥之中。”
诗12:5 Because of the crushing of the poor and the weeping of those in need, now will I come to his help, says the Lord; I will give him the salvation which he is desiring.
诗12:6 耶和华的言语是纯净的言语，好像银子在泥炉中炼过，精炼过七次一样。
诗12:6 The words of the Lord are true words: like silver tested by fire and burned clean seven times.
诗12:7 耶和华啊！求你保守我们（“我们”有古抄本作“他们”），保护我们（“我们”有古抄本作“他们”）永远脱离这世代的人。
诗12:7 You will keep them, O Lord, you will keep them safe from this generation for ever.
诗12:8 恶人到处横行，邪恶在世人中被高举。
诗12:8 The sinners are walking on every side, and evil is honoured among the children of men.
