诗72:1 所罗门的诗。 神啊!求你把你的公正赐给王,把你的公义赐给王子。(本节在《马索拉抄本》包括细字标题)

诗72:1 <Of Solomon.> Give the king your authority, O God, and your righteousness to the king's son.

诗72:2 他要按着公义审判你的子民,凭着公正审判你的困苦人。

诗72:2 May he be a judge of your people in righteousness, and make true decisions for the poor.

诗72:3 因着公义,愿大山和小山都给人民带来和平。

诗72:3 May the mountains give peace to the people, and the hills righteousness.

诗72:4 他必为民间的困苦人伸冤,拯救贫穷人,粉碎那欺压人的。

诗72:4 May he be a judge of the poor among the people, may he give salvation to the children of those who are in need; by him let the violent be crushed.

诗72:5 他必像日月一般长久,直到万代(本节按照《马索拉抄本》应作“日月还在的时候,愿人都敬畏你,直到万代”;现参照《七十士译本》翻译)。

诗72:5 May his life go on as long as the sun and moon, through all generations.

诗72:6 他必像雨降在已割的草地上,像甘霖滋润大地。

诗72:6 May he come down like rain on the cut grass; like showers watering the earth.

诗72:7 他在世的日子,义人必兴旺,四境太平,直到月亮不再重现。

诗72:7 In his days may the upright do well, living in peace as long as there is a moon in heaven.

诗72:8 他要执掌权柄,从这海到那海,从大河直到地极。

诗72:8 Let his kingdom be from sea to sea, from the River to the ends of the earth.

诗72:9 住在旷野的人必向他屈身,他的仇敌必舔尘土。

诗72:9 Let those who are against him go down before him; and let his haters be low in the dust.

诗72:10 他施和海岛的列王都必带来礼物,示巴和西巴的列王都必献上贡物。

诗72:10 Let the kings of Tarshish and of the islands come back with offerings; let the kings of Sheba and Seba give of their stores.

诗72:11 众王都必向他俯伏,万国都必服事他。

诗72:11 Yes, let all kings go down before him; let all nations be his servants.

诗72:12 因为贫穷人呼求的时候,他就搭救;没有人帮助的困苦人,他也搭救。

诗72:12 For he will be a saviour to the poor in answer to his cry; and to him who is in need, without a helper.

诗72:13 他必怜恤软弱和贫穷的人,拯救贫穷人的性命。

诗72:13 He will have pity on the poor, and be the saviour of those who are in need.

诗72:14 他要救他们脱离欺凌和强暴,他们的血在他眼中看为宝贵。

诗72:14 He will keep their souls free from evil designs and violent attacks; and their blood will be of value in his eyes.

诗72:15 愿他长久活着,愿人把示巴的金子奉给他,愿人为他不住祷告,终日给他祝福。

诗72:15 May he have long life, and may gold from Sheba be given to him: may prayers be made for him at all times; may blessings be on him every day.

诗72:16 愿地上五谷丰登,山顶上也都丰收;愿地上的果实茂盛,像黎巴嫩山的树林,愿城里的人繁衍,好像地上的青草。

诗72:16 May there be wide-stretching fields of grain in the land, shaking on the top of the mountains, full of fruit like Lebanon: may its stems be unnumbered like the grass of the earth.

诗72:17 愿他的名永远常存,愿他的名延续像太阳的恒久;愿万人都因他蒙福,愿万国都称他为有福的。

诗72:17 May his name go on for ever, as long as the sun: may men be blessing themselves by him; may all nations be blessing his name.

诗72:18 独行奇事的以色列的 神,就是耶和华 神,是应当称颂的。

诗72:18 Praise be to the Lord God, the God of Israel, the only doer of wonders.

诗72:19 他荣耀的名也是应当永远称颂的;愿他的荣耀充满全地。阿们,阿们。

诗72:19 Praise to the glory of his noble name for ever; let all the earth be full of his glory. So be it, So be it.

诗72:20 耶西的儿子大卫的祷告完毕。
