诗8:1 大卫的诗，交给诗班长，用“迦特”的乐器。耶和华我们的主啊！你的名在全地是多么威严，你把你的荣美彰显在天上。
诗8:1 <To the chief music-maker on the Gittith. A Psalm. Of David.> O Lord, our Lord, whose glory is higher than the heavens, how noble is your name in all the earth!
诗8:2 因你仇敌的缘故，你从小孩和婴儿的口中，得着了赞美（“得着了赞美”或译：“建立了能力”），使仇敌和报仇的无话可说。
诗8:2 You have made clear your strength even out of the mouths of babies at the breast, because of those who are against you; so that you may put to shame the cruel and violent man.
诗8:3 我观看你手所造的天，和你所安放的月亮和星星。
诗8:3 When I see your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have put in their places;
诗8:4 啊！人算什么，你竟记念他？世人算什么，你竟眷顾他？
诗8:4 What is man, that you keep him in mind? the son of man, that you take him into account?
诗8:5 你使他比天使（“天使”或译：“ 神”）低微一点，却赐给他荣耀尊贵作冠冕。
诗8:5 For you have made him only a little lower than the gods, crowning him with glory and honour.
诗8:6 你叫他管理你手所造的，把万物都放在他的脚下，
诗8:6 You have made him ruler over the works of your hands; you have put all things under his feet;
诗8:7 就是所有的牛羊、田间的走兽、
诗8:7 All sheep and oxen, and all the beasts of the field;
诗8:8 空中的飞鸟、海里的鱼，和海里游行的水族。
诗8:8 The birds of the air and the fish of the sea, and whatever goes through the deep waters of the seas.
诗8:9 耶和华我们的主啊！你的名在全地是多么威严。
诗8:9 O Lord, our Lord, how noble is your name in all the earth!
