诗33:1 义人哪！你们要靠着耶和华欢呼；正直人赞美主是合宜的。
诗33:1 Be glad in the Lord, O doers of righteousness; for praise is beautiful for the upright.
诗33:2 你们要弹琴称谢耶和华，用十弦瑟歌颂他。
诗33:2 Give praise to the Lord on the corded instrument; make melody to him with instruments of music.
诗33:3 你们要向他唱新歌，在欢呼声中巧妙地弹奏。
诗33:3 Make a new song to him; playing expertly with a loud noise.
诗33:4 因为耶和华的话是正直的，他的一切作为都是诚实的。
诗33:4 For the word of the Lord is upright, and all his works are certain.
诗33:5 耶和华喜爱公义和公正，全地充满耶和华的慈爱。
诗33:5 His delight is in righteousness and wisdom; the earth is full of the mercy of the Lord.
诗33:6 诸天借着耶和华的话而造，天上的万象借着他口中的气而成。
诗33:6 By the word of the Lord were the heavens made; and all the army of heaven by the breath of his mouth.
诗33:7 他把海水聚集成垒（“成垒”或译：“在皮袋里”），把深海安放在库房中。
诗33:7 He makes the waters of the sea come together in a mass; he keeps the deep seas in store-houses.
诗33:8 愿全地都敬畏耶和华，愿世上的居民都惧怕他。
诗33:8 Let the earth be full of the fear of the Lord; let all the people of the world be in holy fear of him.
诗33:9 因为他说有，就有；命立，就立。
诗33:9 For he gave the word, and it was done; by his order it was fixed for ever.
诗33:10 耶和华破坏列国的谋略，使万民的计划挫败。
诗33:10 The Lord undoes the designs of the nations; he makes the thoughts of the peoples without effect.
诗33:11 耶和华的谋略永远立定，他心中的计划万代长存。
诗33:11 The Lord's purpose is eternal, the designs of his heart go on through all the generations of man.
诗33:12 以耶和华为 神的，那国是有福的；耶和华拣选作自己产业的，那民是有福的。
诗33:12 Happy is the nation whose God is the Lord; and the people whom he has taken for his heritage.
诗33:13 耶和华从天上观看，他看见全人类。
诗33:13 The Lord is looking down from heaven; he sees all the sons of men;
诗33:14 从自己的住处，他察看地上所有的居民。
诗33:14 From his house he keeps watch on all who are living on the earth;
诗33:15 他是那创造众人的心，了解他们一切作为的。
诗33:15 He makes all their hearts; their works are clear to him.
诗33:16 君王不是因兵多得胜，勇士不是因力大得救。
诗33:16 A king's salvation is not in the power of his army; a strong man does not get free by his great strength.
诗33:17 想靠马得胜是枉然的；马虽然力大，也不能救人。
诗33:17 A horse is a false hope; his great power will not make any man free from danger.
诗33:18 耶和华的眼睛看顾敬畏他的人，和那些仰望他慈爱的人；
诗33:18 See, the eye of the Lord is on those in whose hearts is the fear of him, on those whose hope is in his mercy;
诗33:19 要搭救他们的性命脱离死亡，使他们在饥荒中可以存活。
诗33:19 To keep their souls from death; and to keep them living in time of need.
诗33:20 我们的心等候耶和华，他是我们的帮助、我们的盾牌。
诗33:20 Our souls are waiting for the Lord; he is our help and our salvation.
诗33:21 我们的心因他欢乐，因为我们倚靠他的圣名。
诗33:21 For in him our hearts have joy; in his holy name is our hope.
诗33:22 耶和华啊！求你照着我们所仰望你的，向我们施慈爱。
诗33:22 Let your mercy be on us, O Lord, as we are waiting for you.
